Boutique hotel or B and B

Hello! I know NY fairly well but have only ever stayed in business hotels - I really want a boutique style hotel for 3 nights in Greenwich/soho/east village. I dont have a lot of money - but it is my very good friends first time in NY so I want somewhere exciting and different.

Any thoughts? Thanks so much - any help really appreciated

Boutique in NYC translates to ';very expensive';. You also chose the most trendy neighborhoods which further ups the bill. It%26#39;s
