Chelsea Piers.... loaction

HI All,

Hoping someone can help me on this please... My boyf and i are over in NY from June 21st through to the afternon of June 25th and at some stage he would like to go to the piers to whack a few balls into the water. Now there are lots of other things high on our agenda to do and i am wondering if the peirs are near any of the other activities so that hopefully i can tie it in. (If not no big deal will just have to prioritize!)

Things we are planning to do are:

Zoo in CP

Boating Lake in CP

Woodbury Common (booked with Virgin to go on June 22nd)

Grand Central Station

TOTR

Staten Island Ferry

Walk the Brooklyn Bridge at dusk

Do the piers first. I would follow with the Staten Island Ferry with the bridge last. If you take a taxi to the ferry from the piers you would be there in 10 or so minutes.

You can walk from the ferry to the piers in 30 minutes along the Hudson River. There%26#39;s a bike/walking path all the way up. BTW, there%26#39;s a big net. Not too many balls go into the river!
