Hi,
Can anyone recommend a fantastic and memorable but intimate way of getting married in my favourite place on earth NYC.

Do you have a budget in mind? You can%26#39;t beat getting married under the blue whale at AMNH or at the Met, but it%26#39;ll cost you! If this is in a warmer month, you could do it in Central Park. If you search for ';wedding'; in the forum box, you%26#39;ll see lots of previous threads on the subject full of good ideas.

Dozens of people who have posted here have gotten married in Central Park. Put the word wedding in the text search box above and have a read.

Hi Trish
We go married at the Empire State Building on 15th April this year. We contacted a company called Ultimate USA Weddings who are based on the 55th Floor of the ESB. It was just the two of us and they arranged everything for us. A girl called Michelle from the company met us the day after we arrived and took us to City Hall to pick up the marriage license which you must do 24 hours before you can get married. We got married a few days later (with Michelle as our witness) and I must say it was all handled in a very professional manner. The ceremony, flowers, photographs and venue were all wonderful and we couldn%26#39;t have wished for a more perfect day. I hope this information helps you. The owner of the company is called Gino and he was really helpful as we had never been to New York before. The company will tailor the wedding to whatever you want (without being pushy in any way). Maybe worth checking out.... Hope you have a great day whatever you choose to do.
I posted a question before about permits for central park weddings. Are there locations where 26 people can be without getting a permit? We are set for Grand Central at present but would like to have other options in case something happens.
Thanks.
