please help about hotel...very picky and losing my mind...

okay...so me and my boyfriend are going to nyc on 25th september for 5 nights.

We are splashing out since it is a special occasion and finding a hotel has been a nightmare..

Here it is, we would like a king sized bed, smoking (i know i know...) and somewhat on the luxury side and preferrably somewhere that has internet access (and a bonus would be a balcony if the hotel is non smoking, surely you could smoke on balcony?)

Price wise, our budget is 1200 UK pounds...i know that may seem a lot, and i know the smoking thing..

I have post before asking for advice on either the kitano hotel, or the san carlos. I think the san carlos is a bit over budget...

Please help!

Hi

We%26#39;re staying at the Hotel on Rivington which looks fab. It%26#39;s in a really cool area too, Lower East Side. We%26#39;re staying for 5 night and i think it%26#39;s just slightly over your budget, about 拢1500. 拢1200 is actually not a lot of money if you want something %26#39;luxury%26#39; in NYC!

This is for a high corner room with a balcony. I think the whole hotel is non-smoking but the balcony might help you out.

Hi mujipor!

I have to agree with BST in the previous post, your budget equates to $377 per night + tax ($444 total). The reco for the Hotel on Rivington is one that has been made quite a few times - check it on the search box at the top of the posts.

We will be $279 per night including tax for the Ivy room in the Ivy Terrace Bed %26amp; Breakfast (non-hosted). It%26#39;s in a great location for shops transport restaurants etc, 230 East 58th street between 2nd %26amp; 3rd. It has a king sized bed and although there is no smoking in the room ($300 penalty) you can smoke on the balcony, overlooking the street. It has cooking facilities and there are breakfast items in the fridge for you to use.

The Gild Hotel has a few smoking rooms, but their prices

may have be high unless you can find a special. The

location is lower Manhattan with subway station a block and a half away.
