Breakfast in Brooklyn

Are there any good breakfast places near the brooklyn bridge/promenade? Looking for a weekday breakfast, not a weekend brunch.

Breakfast in Brooklyn

There is a good diner on Cadman Plaza:

Here is the information.

Closer to the promenade is Teresa%26#39;s, on Montague at Hicks Street, very good as well.

Bubby%26#39;s is great for breakfast, but they only serve breakfast on the weekends, during the week they have a lunch menu, and it%26#39;s walking distance to the Promenade. It%26#39;s in Dumbo.

Enjoy!

Clark%26#39;s, in Brooklyn Heights (where the Promenade is) is terrific:

I was going to recommend Clark%26#39;s as well.

I %26#39;followed my nose%26#39; to find a breakfast spot after walking the Brooklyn Bridge and found nothing open in the DUMBO area at 8.00 one weekday morning. Maybe I turned downed the wrong streets but it was pretty empty at that time of day.

Anyway, I happened to find Clark%26#39;s and it was great. In fact, in a five day stay, it was the only place I went back to. Neither trendy nor old-fashioned. I had lovely eggs benedict.

And, the window seats are a great place to watch the world go by.

NFMac, DUMBO (how I hate that silly name!) is still relatively new as a neighborhood, and therefore does not have many of the businesses that would be open in an older neighborhood such as Brooklyn Heights, so in a sense you did turn the wrong way.

The Park Plaza diner/coffee shop on Cadman Plaza mentioned above is open 24 hours a day.
