Thanks to this forum - we're off tomorrow!

Just wanted to thank everyone for answering questions and just giving helpful advice that I picked up from other people%26#39;s posts. My daughter and I are off tomorrow! This trip is her college graduation gift, and it comes exactly 4 years after our first trip, which was Memorial Day weekend in 2004. We came that time absolutely clueless - had no idea what we were doing, we only took taxis, we ate at TGI Friday%26#39;s (twice!) and hung out in Times Square most of the time. Now, thanks to TA, we come armed with maps, guides, hopstop directions, pre-made restaurant reservations, discount theater tickets, and much more. Looking forward to meeting some other forum members and just enjoying some mother/daughter time. See you soon!

Hope you have a great time--and don%26#39;t forget to write a trip report!

Have a great time! My daughter and I are off to NYC (our favorite place in the world) in a month (3rd time in a year LOL). Enjoy!

Have a great time--will watch for your trip report!

Enjoy your time together in the Big Apple! It looks like the weather will be improving.

Have a wonderful time.

Mothers %26amp; daughters ..... daughters %26amp; mothers ..... traveling together. Hope you guys have another great adventure and now a little traveling music ..... just for you two ladies .....

You who are on the road

Must have a code that you can live by

And so become yourself

Because the past is just a good bye.

Teach your children well,

Their father%26#39;s hell did slowly go by,

And feed them on your dreams

The one they picked, the one you%26#39;ll know by.

Don%26#39;t you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,

So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.

And you, of tender years,

Can%26#39;t know the fears that your elders grew by,

And so please help them with your youth,

They seek the truth before they can die.

Teach your parents well,

Their children%26#39;s hell will slowly go by,

And feed them on your dreams

The one they picked, the one you%26#39;ll know by.

Don%26#39;t you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,

So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.

Thanks, Lotus - I%26#39;m touched!

Have a great special trip--a mother/daughter trip is something I%26#39;d love to do someday so I%26#39;ll be watching out for your report with particular interest.

Have a great trip, Patti. See you on Sunday! I%26#39;ll be enjoying father/son/son%26#39;s fianc茅e/son%26#39;s fianc茅e%26#39;s sister/son%26#39;s fianc茅e%26#39;s mother time! At least I think ';enjoy'; is the right word!

have fun!
