Girl's Getaway! Need a Hotel!

I%26#39;m meeting my two best friends (they live in other states) in New York in July to see a couple of shows, eat, and shop. We need a CLEAN, but kind of ';special'; hotel where we can treat ourselves and get away from husbands and kids!

We%26#39;re looking clean, would love a luxurious bathroom, and plenty of room to get ready (3 women in one bathroom!)

I%26#39;ve only stayed at The Sofitel (amazing!), but I would have to get two rooms there and that%26#39;s too expensive.

Ideas anyone?

Well, for the three of us, maybe $450-500/night...split three ways would work.

A suite hotel in a 1 bedroom suite will have the most room. I%26#39;d check the Affinia Dumont. It%26#39;s not right near the theaters, but has 1 bedroom suites with 2 queen beds, a sofabed and views of the Empire state building. They also have an inhouse spa. The Benjamin is another Affinia suite hotel that%26#39;s nicer but no double queens, double doubles.

The Blakely is a hotel in the Times Square area with some 1 bedroom suites and the London hotel is another suite hotel nearby. Not sure about getting 2 beds there though.
