Trip planned for Labor Day weekend. We will be staying at the Seneca Casino on NY side and probably going to spend some time on the Canadian side at restaurants/bars at night. Usually we take taxis home at night - are there taxis available? How far is it over the bridge to Seneca? Is it safe?
Thanks for your help!
Safe to walk over bridge at night or are there taxis?
The bridge itself is 1/4 mile. Seneca Casino is another 1/4 mile from the bridge. On the Canadian side, Clifton Hill and Casino Niagara are very close to the bridge, but Fallsview Casino and Fallsview area is almost another mile away. There are taxis that can take you either way, but keep in mind that on Labor Day weekend, traffic lineups on the bridge could be lengthy.

Forgot to mention, walking from Seneca to the bridge, across the bridge and anywhere in Niagara Falls, ON is perfectly safe
Fallsdude,
How much does it cost per person (adults and children) to walk across the bridge? If I am staying at the Counry Inn and Suites, can I plan on walking to the NY side to see the sights? I plan on buying the Passport to the Falls on the NY side because it looks like a better deal to me. (more interested in CotW the JbtF. So will probably be going to the NY side at least two days.
Also do you know if I buy the Passport at the ). Is there a AAA office nearby?
Regarding safety, there are probably few safer places on earth today than the areas around border crossings! There are cameras and guards all over the place on and around the Rainbow Bridge, so have no fear. It%26#39;s a beautiful walk. It costs about 50 cents for pedestrians.
The AAA office in Niagara Falls, NY, is on the outer edge of the city, not near the falls. The ';Passport'; is available anytime in the State Park Visitor Center, about a 5-minute walk from the bridge. Are you saying AAA offers it at a discount, because I hadn%26#39;t heard that?
emarismon, it is 50垄 per person to cross the Rainbow Bridge on foot, and you only pay in one direction. Be sure to have you ID%26#39;s with you for each crossing.
Not sure exactly what you were asking about AAA. Both the office in Niagara Falls, NY and the CAA office in Niagara Falls, ON are located in other parts of the city, not near the tourist areas.
I thought that there was a discount for AAA members on the Passport to the Falls or on the Adventure Pass. It is very possible that I am wrong. I thought that if I bought the tickets at the AAA office then they would be less, as is the case with many of the attractions in Fl.
There is a 10% discount at CAA (not sure about AAA)for Niagara Parks Adventure Pass.
Forgot to add, the discount is when tickets are purchased through CAA, not just showing your card at the attraction.
That is what I was thinking about. So how would I go about going to a CAA office to purchase the tickets? Can I buy them on line prior to the trip?
If I am an AAA, can I get the discount or do I have to be a member of CAA?
emarismom, sent you a message
