Suggestions for group of 8 women..Apt or multi bedroom?

Eight co-workers are looking to go to NYC to see the Christmas decorations and shop around Dec 6-7 for one or two nights. We want to stay in Manhattan in safe but economical place. Any suggestions? Would love to spend $100 per person per night.

We know this apt. is legitimate. If your dates are flexible, they might rent it for 1 or 2 nights but normally rent for a week or more.

stebbie: NYC does not have the same ';vacation apartment rental'; culture that is popular in other cities. Unfortunately, here the practice is rife with scams, rip-offs and illegal rentals.
