Sports events with teens - July!

I%26#39;m staying in NYC from 17 to 25 of July with 3 teenagers (2 boys + 1 girl). They are crazy about sports, but not exactly baseball. I cannot find anything else for them to go that week, apart from a female basketball, which they%26#39;re not very keen either. Any ideas..? Thanks.

For what it%26#39;s worth, on July 19th the New York Red Bulls play the Los Angeles Galaxy at Giants Stadium in New Jersey. Getting to the stadium is easy, but since David Beckham plays for the Galaxy, there are no tickets available through Ticketmaster. You may want to try to contact your hotel, as perhaps they can help you obtain tickets.

Of course, this is Major League Soccer in the United States; people who are used to watching the National team of Brazil may think soccer (futbol) in the US is a pale imitation of the real thing, but it%26#39;s all we have to offer...

Have they ever been to a baseball game in person? I ask because baseball in person is a lot better than watching it on TV. Great atmosphere.
