I am about to book the 4/5 day tour - NY --%26gt; Washington DC --%26gt; Niagra falls. I have not found to much about this firm on the TA.
Should I be wary - they seem very nice every time I have asked a question and the trip is very reasonable @ $420 per adult.
Thank you all for your imput.

Yes you should be wary. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

PS imo 4/5 days is too short for 3 stops. Niagara Falls is really far from both NYC and Washington. How are they getting you to Niagara Falls? Does that price include transportation?
yes - it includes all transportation and accomodation. Does not include: food (v.important), extras or tips (almost mandatory, i understand).
My husband and I are arriving from London on the Saturday and leaving for Vegas the following Friday. It just seems to be the most economical way of seeing Washington DC %26amp; Niagra falls. The trip is from the Sunday %26#39;til Wednesday - on the Weds we fly back to NY and stay 2 nights at the Edisson Hotel, so as to have a bit of ';free'; (haha) time in NY. Hoping also to catch the Giants basketball game on the Weds eve.
Open to suggestions.
When is this trip happening? What transportation are they using? Bus?
I am concerned and I don%26#39;t know anything about this tour company. Do you realize how far apart NYC, Washington, DC and Niagara Falls are? NYC to Niagara falls is an 8 hour drive, more than 400 miles. Washington DC to NYC is a 4-5 hour drive. In a 5 day trip, you will be spending at least 2 of them doing nothing but riding in a bus.
NYWHIZ - the trip is happening end of March 2008.
LIF - I have familiarized myself with the distances, and yes, they are Humongous.
However, I can%26#39;t seem to find a better alternative. After checking the web and alternative trip companies - they all pretty much seem to do the same triangular trip. Even the more expensive companies.
We are on a tight schedule, Israel to London to NY (plus trip) to Las Vegas to San Francisco to LA - last destination and finally resting there with family for 5 WHOLE days (a rest!!), before returning to Israel.
Have you considered skipping Niagara and Washington, and just enjoying New York for 4-5 days? There%26#39;s enough to keep you entertained right here. I just can%26#39;t picture spending hours and hours a day on a bus.
A tight schedule is no reason to run yourselves ragged or waste precious time in a bus rather than seeing and doing. I agree with Bettina that maybe you should forget Washington and Niagara Falls or at least one of them. If you think you will never again make it to the US, I%26#39;d go to whichever is of more interest. Niagara Falls is really far and most people would fly from NYC to Buffalo, NY (1 hr. flight vs. 8 hr bus trip) and get a tour from the Buffalo airport. If you%26#39;ve not yet booked a hotel in March though, you may not have an option other than to use this tour b/c prices are very high. Why did you leave it so late? What hotel will they put you in in NYC? Have you read reviews of whichever it is???
PS the best views of the falls are from the Canadian side. I don%26#39;t know whether you%26#39;ll need any special visas with an Israeli passport to cross the Canadian border and then come back. YOu should check that. I think Niagara Falls may be more trouble than it%26#39;s worth.
If you just do Washington DC, you can do that on your own by train which is a lot nicer than the bus. There are also very inexpensive bus options. The Washington Deluxe bus has gotten good reviews here and is only $35/person roundtrip.

You can go from 34 st. (near Penn station) to Dupont Circle.
How many of you are there?
NYWHIZ - thank you so much for your imput.
We are two travellers - me and husband. My husband really wants to see Niagara Falls, and yes, he has a USA VISA, gives entry into Canada too. I will be travelling on my British passport, which permits entry into USA and Canada.
You ask why we%26#39;ve left it so late to book (!!!) - here in Israel, we don%26#39;t usually book %26#39;til last minute - bad habit - yes. I thought arranging the itinerary for this trip 1-2 months in advance was pretty good going. On reflection, maybe I should have started planning it longer ago. But, all said and done ..... I understand what you%26#39;re saying about this Co. Anyway, how bad can it be? eherm. Her in Israel, we%26#39;re used to traveling long distances for a bit of good scenery. The more expensive alternative would be to stay in NY and take day/day++ trips.
Anyway - have since booked a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.
