A Broadway Show Suitable for a Foreigner

I am visiting NYC at the end of the month, and definitely would love to see a show, but not sure which one, as I am afraid I may not be able to relate something that natives would love it.

Any help is apperciated.

A Broadway Show Suitable for a Foreigner

It depends on the genre that you are looking for?

What kind of shows or genre are you into??

A Broadway Show Suitable for a Foreigner

If your English hearing ability is as good as your writing, you will not have trouble with a Broadway show. You are limited only by what interests you.

Go for a show that is a spectacle as well as a story - like Phantom of the Opera.

... or one with no spoken language like the Blue Man Group or Stomp.

Thanks for your replies.

I think I need to explian my problem a bit more. The number one show in TA is Wicked; but I have not seen the movie or read the book. do you guys think I would still enjoy it?

Or the Avenue Q, is it so much of american culture and slang involved that may make it hard for me to relate to?

Thanks again

';The number one show in TA is Wicked; but I have not seen the movie or read the book.';

There is no movie. Wicked was written as a fictional response to ';The Wizard of Oz';. It tells the story of what happened to the witches before the start of ';The Wizard of Oz.';

It is one of the most difficult ticket to get. Very expensive. No discounts.

Avenue Q is a satire of the children%26#39;s show, ';Sesame Street';. It uses adult humor to poke fun at s ex, race, higher education and economic issues in our society.

As stated above, try Stomp!, Blue Man Group or Fuerza Bruta. Those are acrobatic and dance performances that are very fun and interesting!

What about Lion King?

South Pacific!!

CURTAINS! it was amazing, funny, went so fast did not know it was over 2 hours. Musical, murder mystery, very very funny.
