i will be attending a seminar in NY - Brooklyn and the address is located in Cadman Plaza East. I have tried goggling for hotels in that area but nothing much came out.

are there any hotels located in that area? or what is the next nearest hotels for me?

Yeah, the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge in across the street from Cadman Plaza, but it%26#39;s address is Adams street.

Cadman Plaza East, before the building of ';Cadman Plaza'; in the 1950%26#39;s, was called ';Washington Street';. It was one of three parallel streets in Brooklyn that were named for early federal heroes: Washington, Adams, and Jay. The Brooklyn Bridge Marriott is, as noted, on Adams Street. There is a subway station one block away in the other direction on Jay Street, and Cadman Plaza is not quite across the street, but on the other side of the courthouse that is across the street from the Marriott is Cadman Plaza Park. If you are going to a seminar either at the US Courthouse or the Office of Emergency Management, the Marriott is the closest hotel.
