My two teens and I will be seeing A Chorus Line. Afterwards we would like to visit either Planet Hollywood or Hard Rock. Have not been to either so not familiar. Is either close to the theatre? THanks.
Hard Rock or Planet Hollywood?
Cindy - looks like the same idiot that roams the forum answered. Perhaps some real TA user will also reply
Hard Rock or Planet Hollywood?
They are both very close; Planet Hollywood is very close, right down the street, in fact, at 45th and Broadway. Hard Rock Cafe is just another block and a half, between 43rd and 44th Streets.
I%26#39;ve never been to the Hard Rock, but was at a Planet Hollywood years ago. You definitely are going for the experience, not the food, but they can be fun to visit.
Have been to both - both are very close to each other but in my opinion Hard Rock is better because of the food - thought Planet Hollywood was very over rated and didn%26#39;t enjoy the food.
I have heard that queues can be long at Hard Rock Cafe and you cannot book a table. Is it the same at Planet Hollywood ?
Thanks so much for all your replies. Looks like we will see which place has the shorter line and go with it.
What about going some place that%26#39;s not part of chain in other cities? Ellen%26#39;s Stardust Diner with singing waitstaff is popular. Spotlight is a restaurant in Times Square that lets customers get up and perform (a la Idol). Both have decent food. Ruby Foo%26#39;s is a fun Asian place. Read reviews on
menupages.com
I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll find Hard Rock or Planet H on menupages b/c the reviews would be so poor.
Cindyr222, have eaten in both those restos in other cities, and no matter which city, ultimately, even my teens usually come away saying that the food is kinda boring. If you%26#39;re going for the stuff that%26#39;s on the walls, well...okay. If you%26#39;re going because you think the food%26#39;s gonna blow you away, the only thing that blows are the prices. I have personally found that I seem to be paying for a lotta real estate at these restos. You%26#39;re in NYC, there are a gajillion places with equally as fun atmostphere, and a lot better bang for yer burger!
Have you tried Vynl?
