Top of the Rock tickets

We plan to be in New York City from Jun 17-20 and would like to visit Top of the Rock. We like to keep things flexible, so would prefer not locking ourselves into a specific time by buying tickets in advance. However, we also don%26#39;t want to waste time by standing in line to buy tickets and/or get to the top. What should we do?

We went to TOTR just last week. We went around 10:00 am on a Tues - there was absolutely NO line to get tickets and NO line to get to the top. :-)

I%26#39;ve been a few times, and I%26#39;ve never waited in a really long line, like I have for ESB. You can buy the tickets when you get there. Everytime I%26#39;ve been it has been later in the evening.....like around 10pm. So, maybe you could try that time of night. I%26#39;ve always been pretty lucky! :o)
