Hi, i%26#39;m really looking forward to our trip to NY which is now only 6 weeks away.
I want to get us Broadway tickets and from the FAQs I looked at broadwaybox.com. Is this a reputable company? I just want to make sure I get my tickets(I%26#39;m not normaly too paranoid about online shopping but as i%26#39;ve not used them before I thought it best to check)

Broadway Box question
I%26#39;ve just seen another post on a similar topic - so I get a discount code from Broadway Box and then use it on ticketmaster???
Broadway Box question
www.broadwaybox.com is indeed reputable. I often buy discount tickets from the site, which links to www.broadwayoffers.com . Just click on the show you want the discount for, then buy tickets from the link provided.
If I remember correctly you can go to the show you want on broadwaybox.com, select the show you want on the left side, and then when you see the discount click on the ';click here'; button you see in step one and a small window will open on the side of your screen that will walk you through all the steps of how to properly use the code.
If you don%26#39;t feel comfortable with online shopping there is normally also a phone number you can call (but they will charge you out an obscene amount of money for it)
Have a great trip!
broadwaybox.com is FANTASTIC!!
They use a promo code and you buy your tickets from ticketmaster or telecharge, whatever the show is using for their ticketing.
Another discount site for shows is playbill.com, you sign up and they often have the same discounts as broadwaybox.
Good Luck,

broadwaybox is a great service -- the thing to understand is that all they do is consolidate discount codes in one place, you don%26#39;t buy anything from them, you still have to buy the tix from the normal channels (ticketmaster, telecharge, box office). They%26#39;ve been recommend for a long time here.
I regularly use broadway box for buying tickets to plays. I like it because you can often get a decent deal or discount on tickets, but you still get to have control over where you sit and you don%26#39;t have to wait in line. I%26#39;ve never had any problems using the site and, as the other commenters mentioned, it just is a vehicle to get you to the other sites that sell the tickets.
The links/codes on broadwaybox usually work, but I had a problem when I recently went through the site to book a play for Memorial Day weekend. Although the discount indicated it had not expired, the discount would not apply (I tried twice) when I clicked on the link (and even when I just manually put the discount code on the ticket vendor%26#39;s website). However, it was only a $10 difference for that particular play, so it wasn%26#39;t the end of the world. However, that was a rarity.
I checked out Goldstar vs BBox when we went. Ended up using Bbox, cuz they gave the code out for a good deal further ahead. Goldstar seemed to be only about 1 month ahead, and I wanted to ensure we had the tix we wanted. BBox was great.
Thank you for all the feedback. I%26#39;ve just bought our tickets to Phantom through Broadway Box and i%26#39;m really excited. Just a month to go until our trip. Thanks again, Suz
