Hi,
I%26#39;m travelling to NYC for the first time on June 8th for just over a week. I have enjoyed reading this forum and have learnt loads of useful information, you guys really know your stuff.
I have been reading as much information as I can find about the subway etc and came across a useful piece of software which helps people navigate from one location to another (like Autoroute).
Its called Visitor Guide Subway New York and it can be downloaded free of charge (its a totally free program) from 鈥oftonic.com/pocketpc
I use a PDA as my everyday mobile and have downloaded this program to it and it is really simple to use. I thought it might be useful for other people.
PDA Visitor Guide Software - Subway Guide
Excellent info. Have you compared the results to hopstop.com ? Would be curious to know if they give the same info.
PDA Visitor Guide Software - Subway Guide
It looks very similar from the few journeys I entered. I%26#39;m sure someone with a better knowledge of the subway than me will be able to provide a better insight.
It does, however, give one pause to click on the link and see ';Manhatten'; smack dab in the middle of the PDA screen!
Looks like a very useful tool, though.
