i just checked weather.com;looks like sunny,breezy,in the low 70%26#39;s...is that how you (in the City now)are finding it? I will be helping my daughter with lots of art supplies and luggage ,so i want to pack appropriately,but ';light';as possible! thanks

If you are staying only for the weekend YOU know what to pack. If your daughter will be here for a month--she doesn%26#39;t. They promise rain mid-week and temperatures can still drop to the high 40%26#39;s-low 50%26#39;s at night. ( or early morning) She still needs a jacket, closed shoes etc.etc. AND rain gear!!!

well,yes,thanks..she has all her stuff together..I was just asking for myself,for the short trip(we%26#39;ll be loaded down with all her gear;I wanted to make sure my stuff was minimal)

just returned..weather was glorious..walked across Brooklyn Bridge today! I was right to pack light,as my daughter was loaded down for months%26#39; long stay..she needed so many art supplies,but also daily ';stuff';(bathroom tissue,paper plates,utensils,food!)..we went around to Whole foods on 14th street;also to KMart(!!) when I lived there there was no K mart!but I bought her a pillow,etc..she%26#39;s having a great time.
