We are considering a trip to NYC for our 3 yr anniversary. Neither of us have been before, so we are a little overwhelmed with all the choices.
I know we are interested in Central Park for the winter beauty we%26#39;ve always heard about. I love plays so I%26#39;m hoping to squeeze one in at least. Obviously we will do some sight-seeing, but our ideal vacation is relaxing, eating, hitting some local hot spots, wandering around close to the hotel, etc.
Where would be the best area to stay? I%26#39;ve been checking hotel prices and I know they can get pretty pricey....but if there are some good one%26#39;s maybe around $300/night that can fit our needs that would be great.
Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Anniversary Trip in DecDec. 3 - lighting of the tree at Rockefeller Center.

Apart from Priceline, I%26#39;d look at the upper west side (On the Avenue), Chelsea (Four Points Chelsea, Maritime), Soho (Soho Grand, Hampton Inn Soho) and maybe the village. In the village, some charming b %26amp; b%26#39;s are
