Restaurant suggestions for young adults

Had no luck finding accommodations for 5 in the Upper West Side for Nov. Wow, NYC sure is popular that time of year. Anyway, I was fortunate to get a suite at the Salisbury. So glad I booked early.

We will be travelling with 3 young adults (23, 26 and 27). They would love to have dinner at a place that is fun and unique.

Any suggestions?

What sort of food and what sort of budget per person?

Here%26#39;s a previous thread with lots of suggestions across price ranges and cuisines, with links to more similar threads:

I think you have to define fun and unique. ';Fun'; always sounds like theme restaurants mostly designed for kids (ie Ellen%26#39;s Stardust diner with singing waitstaff). Spotlight is a place in Times Square that lets customers get up and perform. That can be fun and the food%26#39;s evidently pretty good. Buddakan is popular, young, trendy, good food but loud. Balthazar is another popular place with good food.

Thanks. I knew there had to be a post somewhere but this forum is so busy, it%26#39;s hard to find. I%26#39;ll check out the suggestions you both have made.

We%26#39;re going to experience NYC and have lots of time to save so price isn%26#39;t really a factor.
