Choice from 4 hotels, but which one . . .

I have narrowed our choice of hotel down to four and would really appreciate some comments which would help narrow down the choice.

As far as location is concerned, they are all OK as all reasonably central and we are quite happy to walk and use the subway as required.

%26#39;We%26#39; is family of four including two teenagers. The prices I have found are all very similar and within our budget. We will need one room which sleeps four, ie, two double beds and we will be staying for eight days at the start of August.

The four are:

The Hilton New York

The Hilton Garden Inn Times Square

70 Park Avenue

Hampton Madison Square Gardens

Hi,

We a family also with teenagers stayed at The Hilton New York last March and have booked to stay there again in August.

The hotel is very central to everything, Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Centre and shopping.

We had a good stay, room was a good size, clean bathroom with tolieteries, ironing board, iron, hairdryer and safe!

I would definitley recommened The Hilton New York!

Might change the Hilton NY, though it does look good, it is slightly above the others, and add in the Affinia 50 . . .

I almost stayed at the 70 park avenue once, I reserved and had to cancel at the last minute, and found the service to be incredible. I emailed them once to ask them a question about jazz clubs and the concierge answered me a long email with clubs I could check out while I was in town. I talked with their reservationist on the phone and he was also really nice. It seems like a smaller hotel where you are just not a name. I would check this one out if I was you.

if the Hilton is the one on Ave. of Americas then I would highly recommend it. We just left it today, great location, nice hotel, had no complaints.

After much deliberation and a couple of false starts, because Opodo.com came up with an offer we couldn%26#39;t refuse, we are going to be staying at 70 Park Avenue.

Only 9 weeks to wait . . .
