Im coming to NY for the weekend. I will be renting a car and going from my hotel to Woodbury. I have googled the directions but they seem very very complicated. Any suggestions for the fastest,easiest route??

i%26#39;ll be staying in Jersey City at the Doubletree (off the holland tunnel. I%26#39;ll be going to Woodbury commons premium outlets.

Also, what%26#39;s the parking situation like in Manhattan on a holiday. I have to fly out of NY on Monday evening so i wanted to bring the car to Manhattan, park, sightsee and then pick it up to drive to the airport.

What airport are you leaving from on Mon.? If you%26#39;ll have your suitcase in the car, I%26#39;d go into a garage rather than leaving the car on the street even if you could find parking. If you%26#39;re renting from Hertz, you may be able to get discounted parking from them.

This is my first trip to NY. Im not very familiar with the garages. Are they everywhere (like in Toronto, chicago etc). I know that its not advisable to be driving in NY but with the time constraints this is the only option. Any advise on garages?

You can get from the airport to your hotel by cab and then easily get into/out of NYC by mass transit. Unless you have to get around in New Jersey, you really can get by without a car.

How much would a cab cost from La guardia to Jersey city?

Also, i check out on monday morning but have the entire day to sightsee - where can i store my luggage.

How would i get to Woodbury commons outlets from Jersey city?
